WINTER TRAINING

An overview on the fees for the 2025-2026 season are provided below.

Specific costs and payment schedule for each team will be provided at tryouts:

REGISTRATION/COMMITMENT FEE:

The registration fee for the 2025-2026 soccer season covers club related costs such as equipment, program administration, club operations, insurance, registration costs, maintenance, and field use. This fee will need to be paid within 72 hours of a position offer on a PA Classics Harrisburg team in order to confirm a player’s spot on a roster or that roster position may be offered to another player. The registration fee is non-refundable.

WE DO NOT REQUIRE FAMILIES TO VOLUNTEER DURING THE SEASON OR PARTICIPATE IN A FUNDRAISER NOR DO WE CHARGE AN ADDITIONAL FUNDRAISER BUY OUT OR VOLUNTEER BUY OUT FEE.

Sibling discounts are available for the PA Classics Harrisburg registration costs again this year. To qualify for a PA Classics Harrisburg sibling registration discount, a family would need to pay for the registration of two children, then any additional PA Classics Harrisburg registrations for siblings beyond the first two non-discounted registrations would be free. In addition, once a family pays for the PA Classics Harrisburg registration of two children at the non-discounted rate, then any siblings participating in a LDSA program (Kiddie Kickers, ESD, SOLD, CHLD, or TOPS) would be eligible for sibling discount on those programs as well. Questions about those discounts can be directed to the Club Operations Manager at COM@PennFCYouth.com

Please note that the PA Classics Harrisburg registration fee 2025-2026 soccer season does not include the uniform kit for the year.

Uniforms will be ordered directly through our exclusive uniform supplier as discussed below.

PROGRAM FEE:

The Program Fees for PA Classics Harrisburg teams for 2025-2026 have been structured such that the fee includes all anticipated team tasks for the 2025-2026 season.

In an effort to give parents and players a clearer understanding of both the financial and time commitments of each level of team at each age group, individual team plans have been established and will be provided to all participants attending PA Classics Harrisburg’s tryouts and prior to a player’s acceptance of a spot on a team. The individual team plans provide a comprehensive list of the anticipated activities, events, and trainings for the 2025-2026 soccer season and the per player program fee cost for the team for those specific items. The program fee will include items such as tournaments and showcases, fall league entry and referee fees, summer soccer camp (U9-U12 teams), winter indoor facilities cost, state cup entry and referee fees, and if the team is professionally coached, the coaching fee and the coaches overnight travel allowance for tournaments out the area. Again, please note that this year’s program fees are accounting for all anticipated activities. The individual team plans and program fees were customized by team depending primarily on coaching status (professional or parent coach), age group, and level of anticipated competitions.

If necessary, PA Classics Harrisburg may need to substitute one activity/event listed on the posted team plans for another comparable activity/event. For instance, substituting one tournament for another due to whether a team was accepted or appropriateness of bracketing compared to other accepted teams.

Parents will again have the option to pay the program fees in one lump sum in July or participate in the program fee installment plan that will be detailed on the individual team plans. However, payments will be made to Penn FC Youth directly rather than through team managers. Parents will have multiple payment options through the online payment system.

Please note that by formally accepting an offered position on a PA Classics Harrisburg team through the PA Classics Harrisburg registration system, parents/players are acknowledging the required obligation to fully pay the Program Fees for the 2025-2026 soccer season as listed on the individual team plans provided at the PA Classics Harrisburg tryouts.

1. Winter Indoor Training Schedule - Just a reminder that the field schedule for indoor training is in your team's PlayMetrics schedule. Our indoor training schedule starts right after the new year! A couple of quick notes:

  • U9 - U19 Team Trainings - All U9 - U19 teams will train at In The Net on either Monday or Tuesday Nights. This time/field space is specifically reserved for your TEAM to train together and is noted on your schedule.

  • U9 - U19 Individual Skills Training - All Penn FC U9 - U19 players that would like to pick up an extra night in the winter, can come to our INDIVIDUAL skills training night on Thursday Nights. Time slots are broken out by age groups. Goalie training will also be on Thursday nights during your age group sessions. Please note that Thursday nights do show up on your team PlayMetrics schedule, but they are strictly optional for those that want to attend. With that, we hope to see as many kids out there as possible! There is no additional cost to participate, If you can only make 1 session - great - come on out for that 1 session! If you can come to all - great - come to them all!

2. Quick reminder about In The Net and weather - When there is snow, ice, rain, large temperature swings; snow/ice that can collect on the roof of the main ITN dome and then can slide down the sides near the parking areas and back side entrances to the main dome. The area of main concern is the back gravel area behind the main dome / near the entrance of the seasonal air dome. I know many people like to park in that area on both sides of the drive-up to the air dome(behind/back side of the main dome). We would caution you from parking on the side of that gravel area closest to the backside of the main dome or from having you or your kids enter/exit the main dome through those back doors if there has been recent snow or ice. If snow or ice slides down from the roof when you are parked there or standing there or coming in/out those back doors; then you could run the risk of injury or damage to vehicles. We would encourage everyone to use the main In The Net front entrance through the lobby when entering/exiting the main dome training areas. If your player is scheduled for a session in the Air Dome over the outdoor turf field, we would encourage you to park on the grass side of the gravel drive or in one of the main paved lots and walk your player to the Air Dome. Field Maps for the indoor fields in the two In the Net Domes are attached for your reference.

3. Winter Outdoor Training Schedule - Our U13 - U19 teams will have some weekend outdoor sessions on the turf at Lower Dauphin Middle School in January - mid March. Older Teams may do every weekend or every other weekend or wait until later in January/beginning of February to start outdoor. I have loaded field hold times for the older age groups in the system for each of the weekends and you may have seen those dates/times show up on your PlayMetrics schedules. Coaches will be in the system making adjustments in the next few days on each of their older team’s preliminary weekend schedules. Some of the younger teams may also add session(s) depending on how mild the winter is. Those will get communicated directly to each team and added to your PlayMetrics schedule.
